Goodwill Industries Provides Hurricane Relief

TALLAHASSEE, FL – Goodwill Industries - Big Bend, Inc. (GIBB) provided thousands of dollars in vouchers to the Red Cross, local schools and emergency management response teams for those impacted by Hurricane Helene and Milton. These vouchers are redeemable in any Florida Goodwill store for critical items such as clothing, shoes, blankets and other essentials.

Goodwill Big Bend’s CEO Fred Shelfer states, “Goodwill is proud to support hurricane relief efforts with our unique ability to convert household items and clothing into vouchers provided to the hurricane victims that can be used in any Florida Goodwill store.”

This initiative is powered by donations from the community. Goodwill Industries – Big Bend is reaching out to the Big Bend community to support these efforts by continuing to donate during this time.
