Local Man Arrested for Trafficking in Fentanyl

BAY COUNTY, FL - On November 27, 2024, the Bay County Sheriff's Office's Special Investigations Division concluded a narcotics investigation into Stefon Notlim Simmonds, age 31, of Bay County. Initially, Simmonds was arrested for Sale of Fentanyl, Possession of Fentanyl, Unlawful Use of a Two-Way Communications Device, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Following Simmonds' initial arrest, a search warrant was executed on his residence on Avondale Court. Seized during the search was 175.8 grams of fentanyl (6.2 ounces), 4.7 grams of MDMA, 0.7 grams of cocaine, and six firearms.
Simmonds was additionally charged with Trafficking in Fentanyl (more than 28 grams), Possession of MDMA, Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony, Resisting Law Enforcement Without Violence (two counts), and Petit Theft (first offense).
