Goodwill Industries - Big Bend Celebrates 29 CNA Graduates

PANAMA CITY, FL – Goodwill Industries - Big Bend, Inc. is proud to announce the graduation of 29 students from its Certified Nursing Assistant Occupational Skills Training Program, with 14 graduates in Tallahassee and 15 graduates in Panama City. This no-cost, high-quality industry training is made possible through the generosity of Goodwill retail donations and sales, directly supporting local workforce development.

Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare (TMH) has already extended employment offers to students from this graduating class. Final job placement numbers are expected post-graduation. A key highlight of this cohort was a shadow day experience with Ascension Bay Medical in Panama City and Select Specialty Hospital in Tallahassee. Both facilities have expressed interest in collaborating with Goodwill for future job opportunities.

Graduation ceremonies are scheduled as follows:

• Tallahassee Graduation – March 5, 2025, at 10:00 AM (ET) at the Goodwill Prosperity Center, 300 Mabry St.

• Panama City Graduation – March 7, 2025, at 11:00 AM (CT) at the Goodwill Career Resource Center, 3207 E Hwy 98.

• Goodwill Big Bend will launch another cohort in April, with seats filling quickly.
