Bay County to Host Vendor Open House

Businesses interested in doing business with Bay County are invited to attend
PANAMA CITY, FL – Area business owners who are interested in learning more about how to do business with Bay County are invited to attend an open house aimed at demystifying the process.
From 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 26, visit Room 1030 of the Bay County Government Center, located at 840 W. 11th St., Panama City, to meet with representatives from the county’s Purchasing Department and other departments.
“This project is intended to help business owners gain a comprehensive understanding of the purchasing landscape, including key policies, procedures, and opportunities for vendors,” Bay County Commissioner Daniel Raffield said. “We want to help people better understand how to navigate the process so that we can not only help local business owners but also ensure that the taxpayers are getting the best bang for their bucks by increasing competitive opportunities.”
The program will teach business owners how to register as a vendor and stay informed about upcoming projects while also networking with county procurement experts and department representatives to build relationships.
Local businesses, veteran-, women-, and minority-owned businesses or any other vendor interested in working with Bay County government should plan on attending this event.
