Two Charged With Attempted Murder Near Bambi’s Dollhouse, Panama CIty

BAY COUNTY, FL - On May 10, 2025, at about 2:45am, Officers from the Panama City Police Department and Springfield Police Department responded to the area of Bambi’s Dollhouse at 2915 East Bus. Hwy 98 regarding gunshots being heard. No injured parties were located; however, officers found that several vehicles had been struck by gunfire. Detectives and Crime Scene Technicians also responded to the scene to begin their investigation.
Through the course of the investigation, Detectives identified and interviewed witnesses, located video surveillance, and collected evidence to determine the facts of the case. They learned that 25-year-old Chrishaun Dozier and 26-year-old Zacchaeus Lyles became involved in a dispute inside of Bambi’s Dollhouse before being escorted out by staff. Once outside, the dispute continued to escalate with firearms being displayed and verbal threats made.
Dozier entered a blue Ford F-150 and before leaving the area, pointed a firearm at Lyles. As the truck drove off with Dozier inside, and no longer posing an immediate threat to him, Lyles fired approximately seven (7) rounds at Dozier from a 9mm handgun. The F-150 then changed directions, circling the block, and came back toward Lyles, with Dozier firing approximately ten (10) rounds at Lyles from a .40 caliber handgun.
Based on the facts identified in the investigation, Detectives obtained arrest warrants for both subjects. Members of the Panama City Police Department, working closely with the United States Marshal Service Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force, searched diligently for these two suspects.
On May 13, 2025, Chrishaun Dozier turned himself in to the Panama City Police Department and was charged with: Attempted Murder, Aggravated Assault with a Firearm, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Firing a Weapon From a Vehicle 
On May 14, 2025 Detectives and Task Force Members located Lyles at a residence in the 2400 block of E. 3rd St. where he was taken into custody without incident.
Zacchaeus Lyles has been charged with: Attempted Murder, Firing into a Vehicle and Felon in Possession of a Firearm.
This case remains an active investigation, and Detectives are still searching for a blue Ford F- 150, bearing Florida tag HWU7X, used in the commission of this crime.
