Fatal Accident in Callaway

CALLAWAY, FL - The Bay County Sheriff’s Office responded to a motor vehicle crash May 14th around 9:45 in the 6000 block of Boat Race Road in Callaway. 

Markus Ray Powell, age 31, was traveling west on Boat Race Road on a 2016 Harley Davidson Motorcycle and collided with a 2022 Ford F150 truck. 

Powell died because of injuries sustained in the crash. The accident is still under investigation.
