Lynn Haven Bayou Park and Reserve

Dare I tell you one of the best kept secrets in Bay County? I might lose the quiet serenity of it if I share.

This park is beautiful, has multiple ecosystems, a playground, a classroom, docks, picnic areas, multiple restrooms and walking trails to name a few of its features.

The pink grasses are blooming and it is so well landscaped it would make a great place for family photos. On North Bay with two bayous edging it you get the joy of land and sea.

The playground is unique as you will see in the pictures but it is also clean with a great rubber surface to protect those who play hard. A bonus we used in the heat of the summer was a misting station to cool off.

There are benches everywhere and especially along the trails so you can stop and rest or just enjoy the scenery. Handicapped accessible restrooms, boardwalks and decks make it a place for everyone.

It’s easy to miss because the sign is so small on the main road. Just know you turn into the road on the west side of Deer Point elementary and follow the road back. I guarantee you will be pleasantly surprised.
