Opinion: No Article V Convention Of States Open Letter To Governor DeSantis

Governor DeSantis,
If you are advocating for an Article V Convention of States, and current rhetoric says that you are, think again. That is, unless you want the Constitution to be changed and gutted. You, of all people, should know the unequivocable importance of conforming to the Federal and State Constitutions.
But, do you? You want to change the Constitution, but you already know that the most efficient and effective way to remedy our current local and national problems is to ENFORCE THE CONSTITUTION, NOT CHANGE IT! Apply it directly to rogue judges, oath breaking politicians, and non-elected heads of bureaucracies.
Here is a valid and easy comparison. In 1803 Justice Marshall wrote that any law repugnant to the Constitution is void. It's pretty obvious that any state, federal, county, or city law, statute, regulation, or judicial decision which inhibits or prevents the enforcement of the Constitution... is repugnant to the Constitution, and therefore void... immediately, on the spot, and irrevocably. It's an easy, valid, and fool proof test.
As for an Article V Constitutional Convention, as you already know, there are no Constitutional rules for choosing delegates, procedural outline, or what can or cannot be safe-guarded in an Article V Convention of States. In 1787 the Articles of Confederation were discarded in favor of our inspired Constitution. That would undoubtedly happen again, but with the opposite effect on our freedoms... we would lose them all! Further, all twenty-seven existing amendments have been passed by Congress without an Article V Convention. Why an Article V now? It's totally inadvisable, and extremely foolish to think it would help anything at all! Plus, it's more money out of the taxpayers pockets to fund a gathering like that.
There is no need for an Article V Con-Con to address what is being proposed, and it is pernicious to our way of life at this time. It throws the Constitution open to hacking and slashing our inspired Constitution to ribbons by enemies of our Constitution. Undoubtedly, our God given rights would be trashed. And I have no doubt that you are more than aware of this pernicious outcome. So, I'm asking why you want to change our Constitution?

Here is a link which will help set you straight, or that you will ignore in lieu of your personal agenda... which appears to be contrary to the concepts, precepts, and original intent of our Constitution, and without transparency of any kind. https://jbs.org/alert/rescind-applications/
