PANAMA CITY, FL – On June 27, 2025, members of the Panama City Police Department, in partnership with the United States Marshals Service Task Force, executed a search warrant at Vibez, located at 4300 West Highway 98. This coordinated operation was the result of an ongoing criminal investigation stemming from an incident that occurred at the establishment on June 22, 2025. During initial incident, two Panama City Police officers were conducting a lawful security check at Vibez in accordance with Florida State Statute 562.41, which authorizes law enforcement to enter establishments licensed to sell alcoholic beverages to ensure compliance with the Beverage Law.

While performing their duties, the officers were surrounded and ultimately battered by multiple employees of Vibez. As part of the follow-up investigation, a court-authorized search warrant was obtained and executed. During the operation, officers seized illegal narcotics, firearms, and other evidence of ongoing criminal activity.

Multiple individuals were taken into custody for charges directly related to both the June 22nd incident and other criminal violations discovered during the execution of search warrant.

(Multiple individuals are in custody at the Bay County Jail.)
This investigation remains active, and additional arrests are anticipated. Anyone having information on this case is urged to call the Panama City Police Department at 850-872-3100, or they can report their tips anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 850-785-TIPS.
