Local Creatives Band Together To Beautify Seniors’ Activity Room

by Mary Jo Howard, UOSA Secretary/PR Chair

PANAMA CITY, FL – Through a collaborative effort, local artists, Pat Syfrett and Heather Parker, created six large scale paintings for the main activity room at Bay Council on Aging in Panama City.
The project stemmed from the collective desire to improve the atmosphere of the room by bringing in the beauty of natural ‘Old Florida’.
Please join us for a community reception on Wednesday, Sept 10th, 4 pm – 6 pm, at Bay County Council on Aging 1116 Frankford Ave. Panama City.
We invite you to celebrate the impact of the arts, share your own connections and memories to these natural well known Northwest Florida locations, and acknowledge the Bay County Council on Aging Board, the Ukulele Orchestra of St Andrews, and everyone involved in this project.
The reception is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be provided.

Come be part of the conversation, celebrate the significant ability that the arts have to enrich our experiences and improve our spaces, and help us thank the project coordinators for wanting to beautify the Seniors Activity Room.
