6th Annual Santa For Sims Poker Run To Support Veterans

PARKER, FL – The 6th Annual "Santa for Sims" Poker Run is set to take place on September 20, 2025, bringing together the community to provide Christmas presents for the residents of Clifford Chester Sims State Veterans Home. Open to the public, the event welcomes bikers, trikes, and cars under West Coast Rules, with a $20 per hand fee, $5 for passengers, and an additional $5 for an extra hand. High and low hand cash prizes will be up for grabs.

The day kicks off with breakfast at VFW Post 8205, served from 8-10 a.m., followed by registration starting at 9:30 a.m. A safety meeting and prayer will begin at 10:20 a.m., with KSU at 10:30 a.m. The route includes stops at Clifford Chester Sims State Veterans Home, American Legion 392, Coyotes, AM VETS 231, and American Legion 375, concluding back at VFW Post 8205 for food and fun. The last bike is expected to arrive by 3:00 p.m.

The event will feature silent auction items, a 50/50 drawing, and raffle gift baskets, with music provided by DJ Chris and Judi’s Meatball Subs available.
