The Nutcracker Is Back!!
PANAMA CITY, FL – Panama CIty Ballet is once more performing The Nutcracker at the Helen Blackburn Arnold Auditorium at the Arnold High School campus. This is the third year of this spectacular performance, using all local dancers from eleven studios in the area. Tiffany Swan is again directing this event and is certain it will continue to captivate audiences, young and old.
The dancers began rehearsing in August of this year and plan to make this performance shine even brighter than before. This year, the dancers will again be performing with Camarata South, a live 22-piece orchestra directed by Boyan Bonev.
DeDe Reh-Dunn and her team of seamstresses design and sew many of the fabulous costumes that help bring this performance to life. This year, the Chinese variation will feature a dramatic, eye-catching dragon designed by DeDe, that boys and girls will love watching.
The season kicks off with the Sugar Plum Fairy Tea Party on November 22, 2025, from 1-3 pm at 325 Harrison Avenue. Here, children can get a sneak peak at the performances and meet the Sugar Plum Fairy and other characters.
Additionally, there will be some mini performances at Beach Home for the Holidays at Aaron Bessent Park on November 28, 2025, 5:15 pm and November 29, 2025, 6:00 pm with the Panama City Symphony.
This is an event you won't want to miss. The Nutcracker public performances are as follows.
