18-Year-Old Arrested For Escape, False Imprisonment, Child Abuse

PANAMA CITY, FL - Panama City Chief of Police, Mark Smith, announced that the Panama City Police Department arrested 18-year-old Deandre Lawrence of Panama City. Lawrence was arrested on outstanding warrants for Escape, False Imprisonment, Child Abuse, and Resisting an Officer Without Violence.

On December 17, 2025, officers attempted to make contact with Lawrence, who fled from officers. A fugitive investigation was subsequently initiated. On December 18, 2025, Lawrence was located and taken into custody at 218 N. Kimbrell Road, Lot 5.

The Panama City Police Department would like to thank the public and the United States Marshals Service for their assistance in this investigation.
