BCSO INVESTIGATING SATURDAY NIGHT SHOOTING

The Bay County Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating a shooting that occurred Saturday night, April 25, on the west end of Panama City Beach. 

At approximately 11:00 p.m. on Saturday night, BCSO dispatch received a report of shots fired at Beach Access 83. When deputies arrived on scene, they located an 18-year-old male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Deputies immediately rendered life-saving aid until EMS arrived, and the victim was transported to a local hospital for further treatment. He is currently in stable condition. 

Investigators secured the scene and are actively working to identify and locate all individuals involved.  

This remains an active and ongoing investigation. At this time, the incident appears to be isolated, and there is no immediate threat to the public. 

The Bay County Sheriff’s Office will remain relentless in pursuing those responsible and ensuring they are held accountable
