The Declaration of Independence is a document that symbolizes
freedom. I have observed people who need a personal
“Declaration of Independence” in that they need freedom from
fear, from depression, from loneliness, from guilt.
Jesus gave us a personal freedom “document” when He said,
“You shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free.” He
also said, “I am the truth.” Jesus is the One who can make you
free.
