Warrior Beach Retreat: A Week of Respite and Restoration for Combat Wounded Soldiers Feb 22

PANAMA CITY BEACH, FL - Warrior Beach Retreat, Inc., a nonprofit organization based in Panama City Beach, Florida, is dedicated to providing combat wounded soldiers from the Iraq and Afghanistan tours and their spouses/caregivers with an opportunity to relax and recuperate during an entire week at their beach retreat. The organization's personal experience and passion for supporting those who have served our country make it the perfect destination for these brave men and women to find rest and rejuvenation.
The Warrior Beach Retreat Salute Ceremony:
This year's Warrior Beach Retreat Salute Ceremony will be held on Thursday, February 22, 2024, at 7:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Panama City, located at 640 Grace Ave, Panama City, FL 32401. The event is free and open to the public, offering an opportunity for the community to honor and express gratitude to our nation's wounded heroes.
The Parade Escort:
In addition to the Salute Ceremony, a Parade Escort will be held on Thursday, February 22, 2024, at 4:00 PM, starting at the corner of LC Hilton Jr Drive and Powell Adams Road at Pier Park, Panama City Beach. Community members are encouraged to line the streets of the parade route to welcome these Iraq/Afghanistan Combat Wounded Warriors and their spouses.
A Week of Memorable Activities and Inspiration:
During their stay at the Warrior Beach Retreat, guests will have access to a variety of memorable activities designed to promote relaxation and well-being. These activities include beach excursions, kayaking, fishing, and other outdoor adventures. In addition, motivational speakers like Lt. Col. (Ret.) Allen West will share their inspiring stories and insights, providing guests with an opportunity to learn from and connect with other service members who have faced similar challenges.
