PANAMA CITY, FL - Homeschool 101, a group dedicated to providing support and resources for homeschooling families, meets monthly at Heritage Bible Church on 3380 State Ave in Panama City, Florida. Their next meeting will focus on the Step Up Scholarship and the Personalized Education Program, both of which have been greatly influenced by Governor DeSantis's push for more school choice freedom and access.

Many local homeschool families have benefited from the Step Up Scholarship this school year, but there are still many who are unaware or unsure about the program. To help address these concerns, one local homeschool mom has taken it upon herself to learn everything she can about current and past bills related to this scholarship, as well as the ins and outs of the application process. She will be speaking and answering questions during the meeting.

In addition to discussing the Step Up Scholarship, Homeschooling 101 will also hold a breakout session specifically designed for new or prospective homeschool families. This session will provide a time for general questions and answers, ensuring that attendees have a comprehensive understanding of the resources available to them.
