Independence Day in Callaway

CALLAWAY, FL - Much fun and entertainment were to be had on Independence Day at the Callaway Recreational Complex. At 10 am, Mayor Pamn Henderson opened with a moving welcome to everyone present, followed by Linda and the Witch Doctor, one of the best duos that I have seen lately, playing the National Anthem. The flyover of two F-35’s by the U.S. Air Force was enjoyed by all.

Children were participating in face painting, playing on a bounce house, a water slide, and Callaway’s Fiire Department’s Junior Firefighter Agility Course. Callaway’s Leisure Services is always considerare enough to provide free hotdogs and drinks.
