Bay County Seeks Bids for Road Reconstruction Project

BAY COUNTY, FL - The Bay County Board of County Commissioners is currently accepting bids from qualified contractors for the FY24 Annual Resurfacing Phase 2 project. The project is to reconstruct approximately 3.49 miles of Bay County roads, including the removal of existing pavement structure, replacement of base material, full depth mixing, paving, placement of geogrid in select areas, lining of crossdrain pipes, and stabilization of all disturbed areas.

To qualify for the project, the Prime Contractor or Subcontractor must be experienced in the following major classes of work: Flexible Paving, Hot Plant-Mixed Bituminous Courses, Drainage, Grading, and Pavement Marking, as per Rule Chapter 14-22, Florida Administrative Code.

A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at 10:00 am (CDT) in the Public Works Conference Room, located at 840 W. 11th Street, Suite 2400, Panama City, FL 32401.
