Nutty or Nice?

PANAMA CITY, FL - It is blistering hot outside, and no one is thinking about Christmas right now, but Panama City Ballet is! Auditions for The Nutcracker 2024 will be held on Sunday, August 11th at Tonie’s Dance Workshop (2342 Stanford Rd Panama City, FL). This is an open audition for dancers ages 5 to 500!

No dance experience is necessary, but it is highly recommended. Last year, there were 130 dancers from 11 area studios participating in the inaugural performances of The Nutcracker!

Panama City Ballet is a nonprofit community organization giving dancers more performing opportunities on the stage and throughout the community. Performances will be held at the Helen Blackburn Arnold Auditorium December 13-15.

There will be a total of 6 performances including a school show performance on Friday, December 13 at 10am, a Special Invited Audience Performance on Thursday, December 12 at 6pm, and 4 Public Performances Friday, December 13 at 7pm, Saturday, December 14 at 2pm & 7pm, and Sunday, December 15 at 2pm.

There will also be 7-10 additional mini outreach performances throughout the community with the more advanced dancers. And to make things even more exciting, there will be a live orchestra performing along with the dancers this year!!!

Panama City Ballet is so excited to bring this wonderful holiday classic to our community by dancers from our community and hope that families will make this an annual holiday tradition!
