PANAMA CITY, FL – Get ready for another thrilling season as Fright Nights: The GateKeepers returns for its third year, promising a spine-chilling experience like no other. Presented by the Bay Arts Alliance, this immersive haunted attraction will once again transform the Panama City Center for the Arts in Historic Downtown Panama City into a realm of fear and excitement. This year’s event marks the final appearance of the enigmatic Raven Queen, a character that has captivated audiences with her dark allure.
Kicking off on Friday, October 17, Fright Nights 2024 introduces several new features aimed at enhancing the terror and excitement. For the first time, the event will be open for seven nights with presale time slots to minimize wait times and streamline the experience. Guests can expect a heightened level of immersion with cutting-edge special effects, engaging soundscapes, and stunning visuals designed to blur the line between reality and nightmare.
For those less inclined to face the fright head-on, daytime tours offer a gentler alternative. These tours are perfect for guests who prefer to avoid jump scares, flashing lights, and loud noises. In addition to the haunted experience, attendees can interact with a talented cast of performers who bring the Raven Queen’s tale to life, revealing her final chapter. The Party on the Lawn, held outside the Center for the Arts, will feature local vendors, musicians, and fall-themed festivities, adding a festive atmosphere to the eerie proceedings.
The Raven Queen, a creation of Jayson Kretzer and brought to life by Misty Joy, has been a central figure in Fright Nights for the past four years. Alongside her formidable spider minion, Iktomi, the Raven Queen has woven a web of suspense and intrigue that has left a lasting impression on the community. In this climactic chapter, she seeks redemption and protection for the world she once terrorized, forging an unexpected alliance with the citizens of Panama City.
Jayson Kretzer, Executive Director of Bay Arts Alliance, expressed excitement about this year’s storyline, “This year’s story takes guests on a journey through time and space in search of keys to lock up ancient evils. We’re thrilled to present the final chapter of the Raven Queen’s saga and, based on what we’ve learned, this October will be our most spectacular experience yet.”
Fright Nights 2024 is recommended for ages 12 and up, with those under 12 requiring accompaniment by a parent or guardian. For more information on tickets and how to join the team, visit http://FrightNightsPanamaCity.com
