PANAMA CITY, FL - The Panama City and Gulf Beach Garden Clubs are thrilled to announce their collaboration with the Central Panhandle Fair to host a Small Standard Flower Show from October 1-5, 2024. This year’s theme, "Harvest Time," promises to showcase the vibrant colors and creativity of local gardeners.
Taking place at the Central Panhandle Fair, located at 2230 15th St., Panama City, the event invites all gardening enthusiasts—regardless of club membership—to participate in two divisions: Horticulture and Design.
**Division I: Horticulture** features categories for container-grown plants, flowering potted plants, cut flowers from annuals, biennials, perennials, and flowering bulbs. Gardeners are encouraged to present their best specimens to be judged according to the National Garden Clubs, Inc. standards.
**Division II: Design** offers a platform for creative expression, allowing floral designers to interpret the "Harvest Time" theme in innovative ways. Design entries will require reservations; those interested can secure their spot by calling (850) 763-4407.
Participants are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the general rules and judging criteria to ensure a smooth entry process.
