BAY COUNTY, FL — In a heartwarming effort to address hunger in the community, the Gulf Coast Woman’s Club organized a donation drive in support of the St. Andrew Christian Care Center, aligning with the General Federation of Women’s Clubs September National Day of Service.
The club collected an impressive array of items aimed at supporting local families in need. Donations included over 50 jars of peanut butter and boxes of cereal, oatmeal, granola, cans of goods, macaroni and cheese, barbecue sauce, pickles, and Pop-Tarts.
The St. Andrew Christian Care Center, which operates on a mission of love and community support, provides free food and clothing to Bay County residents who meet certain income requirements. Notably, every volunteer at the center is driven by a passion for helping others, receiving no monetary compensation for their time and efforts. This ensures that 100% of donations directly benefit those in need.
As part of their commitment to ending hunger in the United States, the Gulf Coast Woman’s Club encourages the community to volunteer. Together, we can make a significant impact in the lives of those who need it most.  For more information on the Gulf Coast Woman’s Club go to https://www.gfwcgulfcoastwomansclub.org/
