PCPD Arrests Multiple Individuals Following Violent Altercation on Oak Hammock Drive

PANAMA CITY, FL - On October 28, 2024, an officer with the Panama City Police Department was on routine patrol in the 2700 block of Oak Hammock Drive when they discovered a physical altercation among a group of individuals. Moments later, the Panama City Police Department was notified by a local hospital that a person was receiving medical treatment for multiple stab wounds, prompting further investigation. 
Members of the Investigative Services Section responded to the scene on Oak Hammock Drive. Their investigation revealed that 31-year-old Dazhon Parker, 22-year-old Sebastian Morris, and 26-year-old Tristen Pocelli, all of Panama City, Florida, were involved in an altercation. During the confrontation, 32-year-old Nicholas Johnson, also of Panama City, inflicted multiple stab wounds upon the victim, resulting in serious injuries. Following the stabbing, Johnson was seen fleeing in a white passenger vehicle driven by 28-year-old Demarius Mimms, who later provided false information to detectives regarding his involvement in the incident. 
On October 29, 2024, both Mimms and Johnson were located and apprehended by members of the United States Marshals Service Florida Caribbean Regional Taskforce. The individuals involved have been charged as follows:  Sebastian Morris – Affray  Tristen Pocelli – Affray  Nicholas Johnson – Attempted Murder  Demarius Mimms – Principal to Attempted Murder & Violation of Probation
