Panama City Beach Stabbing: Suspect Arrested for Armed Robbery and Meth Possession

BAY COUNTY, FL - On the afternoon of May 10, 2025, the Bay County Sheriff’s Office responded to a stabbing on Joan Avenue on Panama City Beach. The victim reported a man had stabbed him during an attempted armed robbery. The confrontation began as an argument over the victim’s Bluetooth speaker that the suspect wanted to buy. This led to a physical confrontation during which the suspect brandished a knife and stabbed the victim. The suspect then took the victim's bicycle and rode away, taking the speaker. The victim went to a nearby business and the BCSO was called to the scene. The victim was transported to a local hospital and treated for his injuries, which were not life threatening. 
BCSO criminal investigators and deputies obtained evidence that identified the suspect as Holden Devon Branch, age 31, of Panama City Beach. Arrest warrants for Armed Robbery and Aggravated Battery with a Deadly Weapon were obtained for Branch on the evening of May 10th, 2025.
Investigators continued searching for Branch until he was located on the night of May 12, 2025, at a business on Panama City Beach. When Branch was taken into custody on the warrants, he was also found to be in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. He was transported to the Bay County Jail and has been charged with Armed Robbery, Aggravated Battery with a Deadly Weapon, and Possession of Methamphetamine.
