Catch The Fun: Callaway’s Kids Fishing Rodeo - Saturday June 14th

CALLAWAY, FL - Hey, awesome kids! Get your fishing hats on for the super-duper Children’s Fishing Rodeo, brought to you by City of Callaway Leisure Services! It’s happening THIS Saturday, June 14, 2025, at the Callaway Recreational Complex, 504 Callaway Park Way, Callaway, FL 32404.  This FREE event is just for kids 16 and under, and you gotta bring a grown-up along for the fun. Start the day at 7:00 A.M. with check-in and setup, then dive into fishing, fish clinics, and cool “how-to” tricks from 8:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. You’ll be a pro angler in no time!

The first 200 kids to sign up get a FREE rod and reel—yay! Bring your own pole, tackle, bait, and a comfy chair to make it your own adventure. Plus, there’ll be drawings, prizes, and yummy food and drinks—double yay! With help from Florida Fish and Wildlife and Youth Alliance Foundation, we’re learning and having a blast while taking care of our fishy friends.
