Panama City Beach Man Arrested for Trafficking in Methamphetamine

PANAMA CITY BEACH, FL - Bay County Sheriff Tommy Ford announced the arrest of a local man on multiple drug charges after he was stopped for driving without a license and found to be in possession of fentanyl and methamphetamine.
On August 26, 2024, the BCSO Criminal Investigations Division (CID) received information that Nathan Combs, age 46, of Panama City Beach, Florida, was driving a vehicle with no license and a tag attached not assigned. CID investigators were familiar with Combs as they had arrested him last month for Driving while License Suspended, Grand Theft and Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute.
Investigators spotted Combs driving on Front Beach Road and then onto Joan Ave. As a traffic stop was conducted on Combs, he was seen throwing narcotics from inside the vehicle. Combs was taken into custody for Driving while License Suspended and Attached Tag Not Assigned. During a search of Combs, a baggie of methamphetamine was found. A larger bag of methamphetamine was on the driver floorboard. Also in the vehicle was a large baggie of various types of narcotics. Inside this bag was multiple baggies of methamphetamine packaged for sale, multiple baggies of fentanyl packaged for sale, marijuana and several pills which are believed to be pressed fentanyl pills. The pills were sent to the FDLE lab for further testing. Over 60 grams of methamphetamine was seized from Combs.
Combs was booked into the jail for Trafficking in Methamphetamine more than 28 grams, Possession of Fentanyl with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Driving while License Suspended and Attached Tag not Assigned.
