Okaloosa Fugitive Arrested in Panama City Beach
PANAMA CITY BEACH, FL - Bay County Sheriff Tommy Ford announced the apprehension this morning of a fugitive from justice from Okaloosa County.
BCSO deputies located and arrested fugitive Robert Grady, age 52, on Panama City Beach. Grady is wanted out of Okaloosa County for Felony Violation of Probation with the original charge of Sexual Battery.
On February 5, 2025, Grady was released from prison in Gulf County, Florida. He was given probation and an ankle monitor. Grady then boarded a bus headed for Okaloosa County. However, when the bus stopped in Bay County, Grady got off the bus and removed his ankle monitor. Grady was then on the run for several days before he was located and arrested without incident.
Grady was also charged with Tampering with an Electronic Monitoring Device and Grand Theft here in Bay County.
