Store Manager Charged in Theft of Business Funds

PANAMA CITY, FL - On December 19, 2024, the Bay County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of theft at a convenience store on 23rd St. in Panama City. The owner had discovered that money was missing from deposits that had been made periodically during 2024. The owner believed that an employee was responsible for the theft. A total of over $109,000 was missing from the 2024 deposits.
As a result of the investigation, the store's manager, Chantelle Saddo Ten-Hue, age 35, was identified as the employee responsible for collecting and making the deposits to the bank each week. Ten-Hue was interviewed by a BCSO criminal investigator about the theft, and she admitted to taking money from the deposits each week in 2024.
Ten-Hue was charged with Grand Theft of Over $100,000 and she was booked into the Bay County Jail.
